The client was the official sponsor for Japan’s 2020 Olympics and wanted to make a strongly visible campaign under the ‘“Beautiful Japan towards 2020” theme.
The team was clear on the brief and the expectations. The campaign had to live upto the desire for the sports enthusiast to live their Japan travel dreams. The team at RewardPort create a mega contest that allowed users to explore a chance to visit Japan during the Olympics. The proposition was created with all the excitement and fervor of a mega event, by embedding QR codes in relevant Panasonic products. Along with the lucky winner getting a chance to visit Japan, several other rewards were offered to other participants.
With the hype, strong build up and a high decibel campaign this was one of the more successful campaigns for Panasonic.
